Sara Babb Park — Attraction in Georgia

We like the park, it would be better if there was more to the park for kids. It has a few fields, batting cages, etc for sports. It has a tiny playground and swings. The pool itself is clean, the staff is nice but when we visited the pool a little while ago rain was coming in. So we only got to stay for about 30 mins, I really wish we could have gotten our money back our phones said itd be clear and it was for the rest of the day about 15mins after it rained and after they closed the pool. Also again the staff was nice but ive never seen any swimming pool or area in need of about 10+ life guards and none of them were actually working they were definitely playing hard. I was there for a family event, and it was very hot. The bathrooms were filthy and it appeared that we were back in the 50s and 60s where people of color were not allowed to use the pool. It was one of the hottest days and we were told that the pool would not be opened, only to notice an hour later that it was being used but for whites only....it didn't look right and a bit disheartening to say the least. I looked around and noticed three different groups of families, two of african American and one white...yet the blacks were not allowed to get into the pool. I say to the people responsible for this mess, shame on you...the pool is an important entity and should never be excluded as one of the recreational events to entertain all families, especially as hpt...

The pool is always clean. The staff are mostly teenagers but very friendly. If they don't know an answer to your question then they will ask someone to get you the information needed. Cash is easier to use for entry and snacks. Using your card is $1 additional fee with every transaction. My kids love the diving board and used to love the small side before they grew out of the size. It's small. My 9 and 7 year old go to summer camp here 2 weeks out of the summer. The camp has improved over the last year with more scheduled activities and field trips. The price is great but you get what you pay for.
