My 76 yo mom and I were traveling thru the area and my moms 76 yo bladder needed to be emptied. We were driving north with no idea when we would locate any bathroom amenities. Then we saw this and thought yes! But guess what? As my mom did her business they made us PAY to use the restroom. I have no idea what this place is nor do I even care!!! The bathrooms were right inside the front doors going into the building. Absolutely insane that they would do that. I didn't use the facility but did help my mom to get cleaned up. On our next trip, if there's one going past this horrible place, I won't be...
Read moreNature Center, Rifle, Gun and Archery range. Trails to explore and nice picnic areas to relax in. A few primitive camping spots. The range requires you to fill out an application with your information then you get a membership card. Small fee to use and well worth it for a place to safely go. The trails are well maintained and offer incredible views of the valley. There's just the state park pass needed on your vehicle to enjoy the area that you can purchase at the range or nature center. Most of the wildlife are squirrels, birds, and prairie dogs. You may see a deer. A great place and truly a treasure to have so close to...
