PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING... THANK YOU. To start off I would like to say I hate to leave this review but feels it needs to be shared. My daughter had a wedding there today and it was the worst experience we ever could have thought of having. The owner was distant, non reachable, and extremely rude not only to us who rented the venue but also to our guest and wedding party. The venue was suppose to be set up when we got there but it was not and our guest had to help him set things up when we arrived the chairs and the arch was not in place. He waited 2 weeks before the wedding to send the contract to the bakery for the cake and that's only bc the caterer, myself and the bakery kept reaching out to him through text, calls and emails. He doesn't tell you important details you need to know ahead of time. He didn't supply table clothes for all the tables even the dirty and stained ones and his response was "they are stained bc they are used", and the room they had for the men to get dressed in was filthy and walls had been sanded but if you are wearing black you could not touch anything bc white would be all over you. There was also no air in the rooms for the men. He also allowed strangers to sit in on our wedding which was rude to say the least. To top everything off he walked in on the bride getting undressed (my 21 year old daughter) and just stood there and stared at my daughter until we demanded he left and his words was " I'm sorry I didn't know" and he still stood there as if it was in the contract and he was untitled to do so. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Yes it's beautiful no doubt but no where near professional. Maybe if it was under different management things may be better. After everything he never apologized never offered any money back didn't even address any of the issues. He acted as if we work for him. He's all present and up your behind to get that sell then after that he disappears. He doesn't update the contract as you need it to be, he told the photographer the wedding was at a total different time as if he had no interest in obtaining important information as he should have, he did not have the officiant or photographer in place until 2 weeks before the wedding, said he thought I was getting my own when it was in the contract that each would be provided and in our package. I would call him and he would lie to me, he would tell one person he was in meetings in raleigh and the next min in a text tell me he couldn't help me bc he was on a tractor in a field. He also called my daughter the bride a liar about getting a email. I still have the texts from him to prove how rude he is. On the plus side the photographer Ashley AMAZING in every way she listens to you and makes sure you get what you ask for. I can't say enough good things about her I would book her any day.. The caterer Debbie oh my goodness slam dunk and if it was not for her I would have been lost. She is the one who led me step by step and bugged the owner to get in touch with me. I would and will book her also for more...

If you’re considering doing business with this venue, think twice. The owner, Mr. Dodd, is actively dodging service of a court case related to a long-overdue refund and undelivered wedding photos owed to my brother and his wife since April.
Despite multiple attempts (including certified mail, a court bailiff, and private process servers) to serve him at the vineyard's address, Mr. Dodd has refused to accept delivery. His staff has (reportedly) been instructed not to accept anything on his behalf. As a result, the case has already been rescheduled twice causing great expense to us as we are out of state.
He is “demanding” that the couple sign a non-disparagement agreement preventing them (and others) from leaving honest reviews, something they are under no legal obligation to do.
You don’t have to take my word for it. Look up the public records yourself: Case numbers 25CV012046-400 and 25CV012034.
I expect Mr. Dodd will respond here with the same dismissive tone he used in other reviews (see his reply to CJ Heffinger), but I’ll update this post with full case details and photos once the matter is resolved.
Until...
Read moreWhat a hidden gem about 20 minutes northeast of Greensboro! This will be a spot we will hit over and over on a beautiful sunny day or pleasant evening.
Driving on 150 heading east on a quiet and winding road from north Greensboro, you wouldn’t expect a little oasis hidden out here. This winery has it all. You are greeted by the friendliest staff as soon as you walk in. Taste a few while you are given great details and insight about the wines and the winery itself, including the unique history of this establishment. I won’t spoil the details, as this adds to the pleasant experience.
Grab a few glasses of wine, or a bottle, along with some tasty snacks and head to the backyard oasis. Shade and sunny areas throughout. A stage with live music on weekends just adds to the perfect day. A small lake compliments the picturesque scenery surrounding this little establishment.
Need to give a shout out to Taylor for his amazing performance encompassing an eclectic variety of genres. From Creedance Clearwater Revival to Bob Marley, and every type of popular band and singer from the 70s to...
