Sloan's Crossing Pond Trailhead — Attraction in Glasgow

Great walking trail around a beautiful pond. A lot of turtles. In the early spring, there is a pair of mated geese that has been coming here for over 16 years. LUCY and LUCKY Goose is what my niece named them. Very nice wooden walking path. Just refinished this year. Recommend to tourists and locals. Very shaded. Love this pond! It used to have benches throughout the path for people to stop and rest, but they took out the benches. This was a nice, short walk on a well maintained boardwalk. One viewing area was closed but there's at least two or three more, and they were open. This is listed as an easy trail and pretty much all the trail is on a raised wooden boardwalk. The views of the pond are excellent but I’d recommend coming either in the mornings or late afternoons for better looks with reflections and sunlight.
