So many cute hiking trails in Glastonbury, well here is another one with charm galore. Enjoy a shaded, pine needled path through the woods. Most of the trails are wide and family friendly. The map in the parking area is not super helpful if you want to find the falls. The main trail takes you directly to a stone step crossing of the river by a giant beaver dam. While it is a lovely trail over the river for mountain bikes or walking, you will not find the waterfall in that direction. You actually want to go directly into woods from the parking area to the north or the opposite side from the map. The trail to the falls crosses a few streams with stepping stones. Keep bearing to the left and up the hill. The trail is marked with blue paint with a horizontal white stripe. Then you will find the tiny falls. My guess is that the dry month of June caused the falls to be very small, so I suggest going in the spring or after several wet days to get the full falls effect. The falls are set within black mossy rocks on a 40 foot cliff. Very beautiful. We will definitely visit here in the future.

Loved this hike! We ended up doing several trails covering 8 miles, but the waterfalls are less than 1/2 mile from the parking lot. So we started and went to the falls (which were amazing considering it rained hard the night before). Then we continued on around our 8 mile loop and then went back to the falls again to catch some different sunlight. Trails were very well marked and in very good condition. Passed several others hikers but for a Sunday, it wasn't busy at all!

Beautiful frozen falls. Trials are marked, but the path are a hazard due to being steep in some spots and frozen during winter seasons due to ice layover. Once you get to the falls, it’s like a chapter in a storybook. The quietness that surrounds you while you inhale the breathtaking views and smells of Mother Nature is priceless. Dogs are welcomed, but beware of steep and slippery conditions

Start here and follow the blue trail into gay city then hook up with the red trail, take a right on it and follow it around the park and back to the blue trail you came in on, or about 3/4 away head up toward birch mountain rd. then follow the fern trail back down to the parking area. 99% ride- able for experienced riders...Every trail can be pedaled if you have the legs! One of my favorite places to...
