Loved spending father's day. It was a perfect day. The Historical Warehouse in Old Wethersfield was open, and we got to see history, and historical items, and the historian was excellent last name Cook. Amazing to see. It's free. Donations are up to you. A dollar is nothing these days. Well worth it ! My favorite town. Did you know Rocky Hill, and Newington used to be Wethersfield. !? The More You Know ! 😆 (the dumber you get 😆) Jokes are fun, but seriously, I was glad I made plans to get chairs out of the Touring Van, and sit in Zero Gravity Chairs from Brookstone, still an excellent buy after 15 years. Read moreWent there recently on Wednesday morning to launch my boat for a ride on the river with my daughter and granddaughter. The park is not like when I lived in town years ago. There were some people sitting in their cars smoking cigarettes and I could smell marijuana. My wife went to use the portable toilet and it was just plain filthy. The sign for Cove Park is wooden and it is rotting and needs replacement, simply neglected. Also there is work being done under the bridge, with huge noisy equipment. Not what I was expecting.
