As with anything in life, your experience depends on what you do. We came on 3.29.25 to take a walk and stretch our legs before grabbing breakfast at Heirloom Market. The gravel parking lot is huge, and it has porta potties. There's a short trail to walk around, or you can walk on the sidewalks. In the summer people will be boating and fishing. We saw families walking, dogs, kids on bikes, older couples, and young people running. This is a nice place to enjoy nature. Take a seat, and people watch or walk around the area.

the best place in wethersfield to relax in the summer, super close to old wethersfield main street, i usually get a pizza and relax with friends in our cars. it always changes depending on the tide and the weather but this place is amazing. so many good memories were made here. there’s always lots of cars so it feels super safe, even at night! have seen a lot of people fish here too.

Very calm and peaceful place. Usually people just come here to park and hang out. I like coming here for the history. They have a few houses next door dating back to the 1700's I believe and I find it so fascinating. There's also an old barn looking house right on the cove. Some people have their boats out here but nothing too crazy. It's really just a chill spot

Loved spending father's day. It was a perfect day. The Historical Warehouse in Old Wethersfield was open, and we got to see history, and historical items, and the historian was excellent last name Cook. Amazing to see. It's free. Donations are up to you. A dollar is nothing these days. Well worth it ! My favorite town. Did you know Rocky Hill, and Newington used to be Wethersfield. !? The More You Know ! 😆 (the dumber you get 😆) Jokes are fun, but seriously, I was glad I made plans to get chairs out of the Touring Van, and sit in Zero Gravity Chairs from Brookstone, still an excellent buy after 15 years. I wonder if they still exist 🤔? I love that store...the "free" massages were...

Went there recently on Wednesday morning to launch my boat for a ride on the river with my daughter and granddaughter. The park is not like when I lived in town years ago. There were some people sitting in their cars smoking cigarettes and I could smell marijuana. My wife went to use the portable toilet and it was just plain filthy. The sign for Cove Park is wooden and it is rotting and needs replacement, simply neglected. Also there is work being done under the bridge, with huge noisy equipment. Not what I was expecting. Will not be going there anytime soon to...

The cove is one of Wethersfield's most exclusive and charming area's in the whole world. Yes, I am bias because I have lived in wethersfield my whole life, but I think that shows even more how exquisite this place is. I have lived here forever and I could still never get sick of this place. It's a family friendly and wonderful place to launch out of Wethersfield and then get to the Connecticut River. Rocky Hill Ferry Launch is also a beautiful spot and you a can actually go south down the river and you will be their...
