the best place in wethersfield to relax in the summer, super close to old wethersfield main street, i usually get a pizza and relax with friends in our cars. it always changes depending on the tide and the weather but this place is amazing. so many good memories were made here. thereās always lots of cars so it feels super safe, even at night! have seen a lot of people fish here too.

Very calm and peaceful place. Usually people just come here to park and hang out. I like coming here for the history. They have a few houses next door dating back to the 1700's I believe and I find it so fascinating. There's also an old barn looking house right on the cove. Some people have their boats out here but nothing too crazy. It's really just a chill spot

A long drawn out conversation at the guard shack about no swimming led me down a path to the mouth of the inlet on the river . What a Fantastic swim I had up to Goodwin College and back, about 2 miles! No problems at all!

The Cove is great if you have a boat, but limited for everything else. There are some empty fields that are great for sports (primarily soccer or little league baseball), but the Cove itself does not offer much.
