Moderate trail near Glenwood Springs. It stays relatively cool as much of it is near the river but you will still need water to drink. Bear to the left for hiking but bikes cannot travel as the trail is very narrow, rocky and there are many fallen trees. Great views along the way. There is only parking for 5 cars and we ended up parking over the freeway and walking about a half mile to the trail. We hiked during the week and only ran in to about 20 people along the way.
