Pony Creek Lake — Attraction in Glenwood

Where to begin ? I’ve been coming here since I was very little. Fished here with my grandpa and still to this day visit weekly. There are bluegill, cat fish, and strip bass. It’s beautiful. There is no camping. Also no dock. I wouldn’t recommend swimming here because it is a bit dirty and there are an awful lot of little fish that’ll get your toes. Lol fishing can be done by boat or on land. The best part is late at night you can see the stars perfectly. Oh and you can here coyotes singing back and forth to each other along with, owls hooting, and blue...

We spent a few days at the campsite near the lake last year. We had a really wonderful time. The fishing out on the lake is good if you want some easy fishing, but if you want to catch something with a little meat on it you'll almost certainly need a boat and fish on the other side near the tree line.

The mosquitos were minimal, the view was fantastic, and the various site amenities were well maintained and clean.

We will definitely be visiting...
