Easy access to the beach with plenty of parking. Perfect for short day trips and scenic walks. It's calm waters which are perfect for kayaks, paddle boards, and just going out into the water to swim. It really is hard to fathom and put into words how much history is in this area regarding the birth of our nation. It is truly something special. I'm thankful for the NPS and their efforts to preserve this history. Most of the remnants of the founding of the nation have been lost, and even when exploring the areas related to this park you are surrounded by development and the disappearance of the historical significance. Fantastic place for fans of history. Walking through the town was definitely worth it, even though I have to use a cane. Gives a perspective, too, of what battle was like during that era.
