Bread & Puppet Theatre — Attraction in Glover

Show at Marshall NC. Soon after they started I had realized what a mistake I made supporting with my attendance this group. Everyone has a freedom to express their political view but this dull narrow minded open fire to everything what comes from this country , free world in general and "bold" and torn out of context attacks on such complex political situation in Izrael was making me questioning if the production of the show simply relied on the crowd to be a bunch of ignorants. The political messages were from most of the time a simple political statements lacking any smart ctreativity one would expects from a theater performance. Little bit of drama professionalism wouldn't hurt I am aware that this group will find lots of supporters specially among young therefore easy to be manipulated people. Hynek Chudomel....

First thing you should know about me, I had an irrational fear of puppets as a child. The second thing you should know about me, I’m home on spring break. Now, I decided on a whim to take a puppetry class this year, and it’s been a hoot. Despite my mild remaining terror for the creations, I am quite enjoying myself, enough so to take a jaunt to Glover for this museum. Man, was that a good choice! Though my sister is not as artistically inclined, she did say “the barn was just as good as the puppets,” which I would say is high praise. I greatly admire the long time dedication to the art of puppetry, and the way that the pieces were presented. It was a very unique experience. I’ll definitely be going to see a show live this spring. This place is amazing. Go upstairs you won't believe what you see up there! They need a sign to tell people they have a second floor. They sell posters and funny hand made quirky items here too. This place is free to visit but I would drop a few dollars in their donation box on the wall. We brought our 20 year old daughter and 18 year old son here. They took lots of pictures of the crazy stuff here and posted videos on line about it. The puppet museum is the most amazing, weirdest, crazy stuff they've ever seen they said. They took tons of selfies with the life size puppets. If you have teenagers, bring them here but don't tell them what it is. I did that and I freaked them out and amazed them at the same time. You'll see what I mean... They both said this place is freaking me out Mom...
