Great easy/mod. Hike. Parked at trailhead on mountain road. Directly into the woods and link trail follows road and then you're in the woods. Couple of sections that were up up up and use caution, they must have had rain and some rocks were dislodged from what looks to be heavy downpours. Link trail to summit trail First outlook is lovely with some rock slab to sit and enjoy. Next quick section leads you through cell towers etc, but then you're back into woods, which leads you to a very dilapidated, house/hut that has been destroyed by people partying. Broken glass, trash and empty beer cans. That was the saddest part of the hike. Another 1/8 of a mile leads you to the next outlook and on a clear day you can see Monadnock in the distance. Finish the loop by going back into the woods. We got a bit confused as we took taber trail, but all trails said it was mountain trail. We wanted some switchbacks, so we did mountain trail to kenlaw.. Then we hooked on to another trail which was less traveled and it showed. Overgrown grass, but still doable, hooked back onto the link trail and back to the parking. Overall a good 3 mile hike

Trail Recommendations: If you want easy and scenic, park at the end of Mountain Base Rd and go up the summit trail and loop around the walker trail then back down summit. You’ll hit all the best view points. If you want some great exercise, go up incline and down tabor then at the four way go straight and zigzag down the kenlaw. You’ll exit into the bickford trail, take a right to get back to the parking lot. And for the real adventurous, take one of the many other secret trails hidden throughout these mountains.

I personally only been here once and went up the incline trail, it's got its name for a reason it's a calf burner if you dont stop haha However I highly recommend this are in general the lake at the bottom is beautiful and peaceful. The parking is a little limited so depends on when you are going Views from the top are limited but even is rainy weather the view is pretty far in general. Highly enjoyed this quick hike and would do again.

I love hiking this mountain. It provides great views at the top and has someb great trails. It's also fairly big considering it's a tiny mountain in Goffstown. I can be out there for hours. My favorite trail is Walker to Summit. That has the best views. There are a couple reasons though that I can only give it 3 stars. The first is that it is not really well marked. There are signs at trail intersections, but not every trail even has tree markers, and when they do, they are not always frequent or clear enough. It is also tricky to actually find your way into the actual mountain from Link Trail. Finally, it's super muddy early and late season. Like I said though, I will continue to hike it because now that I know the area, these drawbacks don't bother me. I would recommend it, but probably not alone...
