A wonderful place to really take in the history of Goldendale. Almost all of the items were donated and the collection is priceless. They have a completely staged house in the mansion of how people lived during that time FILLED with items, a school, a dentist chair, printing press (most impressive), and a real coal tractor out front for the kids to play on. It’s really interesting to see many staples of old life and guess how it could be used. They are saving the huge letter from an American soldier written in Japanese in November 1945 year.
