Very beautiful spots on this trail but it’s quite short though a hard part of the slope going in and out which is significant especially the uphill. Even the down hill is slippery because it’s a bit steep. Take it slow, have traction on your shoes and zig zag down. It will be worth it for the short trail with towering redwoods near the stream with beautiful rushing waters. It’s almost surreal lie it’s a movie set. And the offshoot trail going thru the little tunnel has an amazing view too. Parking is just along the road so first come first serve and there’s not plenty of parking...

Trail-head is not well marked and has very limited parking especially since the northbound side was closed. Read morePartington Cove was a nice hike. You've got to take in both of the sides. The tunnel leads to a cove the was full of jellyfish and seaweed. Then trek over the rock a little bit a find a small cave. You'll see sea anemones, crabs, urchins, and mussels.
Then go back through the tunnel and head down to the "beach" area. There's a small waterfall coming down. Some new photo opportunities, as well as a cool area to kick back...
