Great little hike for stunning views. trail actually splits toward the bottom so you can go left up to see the stream and some small waterfalls or turn right to the cove. Trail-head is not well marked and has very limited parking especially since the northbound side was closed. Recommend parking on the straight away before the curve when heading southbound and walking south to the entrance where there is an access road with a gate with a sign saying no parking. past the gate on the left is the trail sign.

The hike down was a quick and playful adventure, but the trek back up made me question whether those views were really worth the sweat. The tunnel, though, was a fun little surprise—cool and mysterious, like stepping into another world. Inside, there were lovely coves to explore, and a tiny stream babbled happily along, adding a touch of charm to the whole experience.

Great spot for two hikes. The first on the south side of PCH is down to the beautiful cove below through a historic tunnel. The other on the north side takes you steeply you through the stunning redwood forest along the creek. The trail is mostly shaded and but climbs fairly steeply at times. Highly recommend both trials!

Very beautiful spots on this trail but it’s quite short though a hard part of the slope going in and out which is significant especially the uphill. Even the down hill is slippery because it’s a bit steep. Take it slow, have traction on your shoes and zig zag down. It will be worth it for the short trail with towering redwoods near the stream with beautiful rushing waters. It’s almost surreal lie it’s a movie set. And the offshoot trail going thru the little tunnel has an amazing view too. Parking is just along the road so first come first serve and there’s not plenty of parking...

Partington Cove was a nice hike. You've got to take in both of the sides. The tunnel leads to a cove the was full of jellyfish and seaweed. Then trek over the rock a little bit a find a small cave. You'll see sea anemones, crabs, urchins, and mussels.

Then go back through the tunnel and head down to the "beach" area. There's a small waterfall coming down. Some new photo opportunities, as well as a cool area to kick back...
