Pessagno Winery — Attraction in Gonzales

They have a very big wine tasting room. It looks like it would be good for renting out for event. I also like that pond and sometimes you can see decks or geese. They have nice waterfalls, Barbecue stuff, and picnic area. I'm partial to sweet wine delicious Port unlike other wineries. They do have cheese and cold cut platters but it's just okay. It is nothing special in that regards but it's good to have something on your stomach if you drink alcohol. They do have beautiful flowers and the vineyard. We are members so we get free wine tasting but...

I love this place. I joined their wine club last year, and it's one of the best decisions I've made since coming out to the Bay Area. Their wines are generally not found at San Francisco retailers or restaurants, so it's always worth the two-hour drive to pick up some of the richest pinot noirs I've had. Their Intrinity Chardonnay is also mind-blowing. I especially love the friendly staff there and the beautiful environment they've created to enjoy the perfect weekend...

The winery was beautiful, the woman who were behind the bar provided great service and helpful. The wine selection for tasting was wonderful. My biggest issue was the gentleman who was serving pizza. He was baking pizzas to give out to customers complimentary.
