Wife and I have been to many wineries, from places of mass production to small case counts per year. We love a good story, memorable experiences, and drinkable, tasty wines. On all fronts Tira Nanza exceeded expectations. Owners are super friendly and currently give the tour themselves. They are in the first few years of running the production and have big plans for the property and brand. Take note: you’ll hear more about this place as time goes on. They took us in their Bronco up the steep slopes to tour the property and showed us a tasting deck that has an unrivaled view of the mountains. We then explored the production floor and wine cave. Wine was really interesting—they had a malbec rose, interesting whites, and other great reds. We also got to taste some things in the middle of fermentation/production which were really unique. Looking forward to what Greg and Sydney do next.

After reading others' reviews, we knew we were headed for a special experience. However, we hadn't anticipated just how extraordinary it would be. Yes, it is a bit out of the way, but their website and co-owner Sydney provide excellent guidance and communication is consistently helpful and clear. To sum up: Tira Nanza's grounds are worth a movie setting--simply heavenly! The wine tasting was also a memorable, and although we have numerous wine tastings under our belt, we learned so much from Sydney. We especially enjoyed their Viognier Dessert wine, and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Definitely recommend Tira Nanza; you will not be disappointed!

I highly recommend visiting and experiencing all Tira Nanza has to offer! Their wine is excellent! I love the rosé! It was perfect for a birthday/girls day in Carmel Valley. Sydney gave us a private tour and we tasted at the casita with an AMAZING view! We loved seeing cows, dogs, and smelling the lupin flowers all around the property. Did I mention the wine is excellent? Sydney did an amazing job describing each wine and it was obvious how passionate they are about their wine and the wine making process. If you're looking for an unforgettable wine tasting experience Tira Nanza is the place to go!

Definitely an unforgettable wine tasting. It was really amazing to see such a young winery so committed to respect nature from all points of view. I would have liked to convey even better how much I appreciated the overall experience. We tasted 4 current release wines (Malbac rosé, Viognier, offshoot Chardonnay and Cab). I can't decide which was my favorite because all have a well-defined personality, united by vibrant fruit concentration and deep charming persistence. As I told to Sidney (our special host) what impressed me most it's the strong consistency between the philosophy behind the wine and wine style itself. And when this magic happen, for me you won and have nothing to envy of other realities including those of Napa and even Italian ones (I'm italian so I know what I'm talking about!). Thank you for everything and wish you...

My family and I visited Tira Nanza Wines and were absolutely blown away by the owners passion for the wine making process and organic processes, as well as the beauty of this property! Sydney took us on a private tour of the property and we stopped at a beautifully constructed casita atop a hill for an amazing wine tasting with (in my opinion) the best view in Carmel Valley and surrounding areas. The wine was perfection 👌🏻you can tell the owners care and want the best for their wine and for their consumers. We were all very impressed by the integrity and commitment of the owners. I was especially pleased to learn about their organic processes and dry farming of some grapes! We truly had the best experience and are now wine...
