Check out The Amazon and for some epic singletrack try the extreme Foster's Creek loop with some actual up and down and one degree of technicality. For the most part pretty tame but you can do 20 or 30 miles without getting bored and nobody uses it. Ssshhh. Don't tell anyone. Too good to spoil

A great place to mountain bike with about 20 miles of trails. Anyone from novice to expert can have fun at this trail. It handles rain very well. The orange loop is the most difficult but still at a novice level. Occasionally the trails can be closed for military exercises.

Lots of well maintained trails for biking, running, or hiking. Some parts can become swamped after rain. Lots of opportunities to see wildlife, including alligators, white tailed deer, snakes, the great white egret, and other types of birds.

First, you don't need a military ID to get to & ride the trail. I always ride with ID anyway, and did not see any military presence. Having said that, great single track, somewhat technical. Lots of roots, some puddles of water but nothing that your front wheel would get bogged down in. Nice views of marshes, and there is a wooden teeter totter to ride over. Also, be on the lookout as some one put up 2'X4"'s with Pink Floyd lyrics to keep you grooving. I used All Trails app, occasionally looking at it to see if I wandered off course. After about my first 0.5 mile I ended up on the sidewalk alongside the road, kept riding till I passed some sort of steam plant, then hooked a left onto an access road which eventually got me back on the trail. I believe All Trail had it as a 12.5 ride, but having gotten sidetracked off course it was 10.8 for me but at the end it had a 13 mile post with a little bit further to...

This trail is actually on the Naval Weapons base so access is restricted to non-military. They offer a pass to non-military, but it is $10 for the application fee and the background check can take up to 6 weeks. Mine took less than a week. I think a person has to reapply and pay the fee every 6 months. You can apply at the Outdoor Adventure Center just down the road from the trail. While they used to issue a pass good for the 6 months, apparently now they only issue day passes, which have to be picked up at the Visitor Center the same day you use it. Except the Visitor Center is closed weekends, so if you want to use the trail on a weekend you have to pick up the pass on Friday. I thank them for letting non-military use this nice trail, but the process makes it difficult to use except on a day off...

Great, just great, you as a person that wants your health back... Yes you, reading my review..... go here and learn to love the outdoors and believe air is more important than being in the house. For those of you who prefer to walk, the road is open and you can walk, along ways back to the fields. There is fishing in here. The flowers are beautiful, at the ponds. Mountain biking is another great thing to do here. Plenty of trails. Bring first aid kit, bring helmet, no helmet no ride. I ran my RC truck back here. I just needed a place that was majestic, and quiet, and made me feel comfortable. This place...
