The Badlands are a great addition to the Castle Rock. The Badlands are more visible to the east side than the west side. There are gas and oil building on the east side of the Badland. The loop is kind of rough except if not that rough. We did scrape the bottom of our car one two three four times that I could remember. The The dirt road could be washed out or damaged if there was major rain or some other event. Yeah I think that is mostly possible for most people. The west road is likely the best road and in the best condition due to the gas and oil buildings and structures that are near this formation. You can drive around the entire thing. It was cool but it wasn't amazing.
And then we turned the corner into the Badlands and both of our jaws dropped. This was so unexpected. The badlands are so beautiful. I jumped out of the car with my camera and felt like a kid in the candy store.
