Wonderful clean helpful little rest stop. Free peanuts and stickers for the kids or your adventure book as well as all you travel maps, guides and activity pamphlets. I will be sure to save this location for future rest stops. Oh and don't forget to get your free Alabama peanuts/cookies/stickers while you're there.

This is a clean rest stop with friendly staff, but it could definitely use an update though! We typically stop by on our way back from vacation and it would be nice to see an updated design to take the sting from the return trip. Lol. Spend a little money Alabama! It will certainly come back to you!!

Safeplace! Security on grounds. For those who are traveling with pets have a perfect place here to walk your pets. Grounds and bathrooms are very clean. Vending machines are in working order. Front office offers brochures that are informative on the history and local attractions within the area.

The custodian/janitor felt it was his place to confront me about where my vehicle was parked, and was adement about me moving even after explaining why I was waiting for my partner who was nervous about going alone to restroom. I just feel he shouldn't approach patrons and be confrontational. I suggested he mind his own business and move on as I wasn't interested in his point of view. I hope someone will inform him of the limitations of his position, and kindly remind him he should better spend his time caring for the facilities and not the activities of the visitors. As a person of the generation X era I don't like being talked to by older people with a condescending tone nor do I respond well to...

I was on the way home from Florida and stopped by here. Wow what a great rest stop. It's clean, it's safe, and someone is on duty 24 hours here. They have lots of free literature about things that you can do in the state of Alabama.

When I was here the lady that was at the rest area was very friendly and welcoming. Truly a great greeter for this state. She gave me lots of information and free literature that I could read about things to do here in the state.

The restrooms are also clean and well maintained.

There is an area behind the main entrance with fully stocked vending machines.

Lastly there is entry of parking for trucks, RVs, and...

I was traveling to Florida for a vacation and needed to rest for a bit. This was the last rest area on the highway I was on right before entering Florida. It was average. It was mostly clean but it seemed like when It was built, only function was considered. Later in my trip, I stopped at a Florida rest area. It was a WOW moment. They designed theirs with form and function in mind. I was stunned. I also remember years ago I went to Tupelo, MS. We stopped at the first rest area in Mississippi. It was extravagant. We stayed for awhile walking through it and taking pics. The rest areas in Alabama get the job done...
