The custodian/janitor felt it was his place to confront me about where my vehicle was parked,and was adement about me moving even after explaining why I was waiting for my partner who was nervous about going alone to restroom. I just feel he shouldn't approach patrons and be confrontational. I suggested he mind his own business and move on as I wasn't interested in his point of view. I hope someone will inform him of the limitations of his position,and kindly remind him he should better spend his time caring for the facilities and not the activities of the visitors. Read moreI was on the way home from Florida and stopped by here. Wow what a great rest stop. It's clean, it's safe, and someone is on duty 24 hours here. They have lots of free literature about things that you can do in the state of Alabama.
When I was here the lady that was at the rest area was very friendly and welcoming. Truly a great greeter for this state. She gave me lots of information and free literature that I could read about things to do here in the state.
The restrooms are also clean and well maintained.

Read moreI was traveling to Florida for a vacation and needed to rest for a bit. This was the last rest area on the highway I was on right before entering Florida. It was average. It was mostly clean but it seemed like when It was built, only function was considered. Later in my trip, I stopped at a Florida rest area. It was a WOW moment. They designed theirs with form and function in mind. I was stunned. I also remember years ago I went to Tupelo, MS. We stopped at the first rest area in Mississippi. It was extravagant.
