Narada Falls is truly one of the most stunning waterfalls located within Mount Rainier National Park, and a must-visit spot if you’re exploring the area.

The falls offer both upper and lower viewpoints, each providing a unique and breathtaking perspective.

If you’re short on time or prefer not to hike, you’ll still be rewarded with a spectacular view from the upper area near the parking lot.

It’s just a short walk from your vehicle, and you can enjoy the sight and sound of the cascading water from above.

For those willing to explore a bit more, I highly recommend taking the short hike down to the base of the falls.

The trail is relatively easy and well-marked — it took us around 15 to 20 minutes one way, even with a good amount of snow on the ground during our visit.

The path can be slightly slippery in snowy or wet conditions, so wearing proper footwear is advised. Once you reach the bottom, the view is absolutely worth it.

It’s peaceful, calming, and offers a close-up experience of the powerful waterfall surrounded by lush forest and natural beauty.

One of the advantages of visiting Narada Falls is that there’s more parking available compared to some other nearby attractions like Christine Falls, which can get crowded quickly.

This makes Narada Falls a more convenient stop, especially during peak visiting hours.

Whether you’re looking for a quick scenic stop or a short nature walk with rewarding views, Narada Falls won’t disappoint.

It’s a perfect blend of accessibility and natural beauty — highly...

Only about 150 feet from the road so super convenient with parking right off Paradise Road, and honestly this 188-foot waterfall dropping in two gorgeous tiers is absolutely stunning. You can peek over the stone wall or walk across that cool historic bridge 🌉 right over the top of the falls which feels pretty wild. The short trail down to the lower viewpoint gives you the best shots but heads up - it’s definitely wet and slippery with some muddy, eroded sections so wear decent shoes 🥾May be the best waterfall in the park for the combo of the falls themselves plus those incredible mountain views at this elevation. Absolutely worth the quick scramble down even if you’re not much of a...

Narada Falls in Mount Rainier National Park is a natural spectacle that captures the essence of the Pacific Northwest's beauty. Plunging dramatically from a basalt cliff, the falls offer a mesmerizing display, especially during spring and early summer when snowmelt feeds its flow. Easily accessible from the road, Narada Falls is a must-stop for visitors to the park. A short trail allows for a closer look, surrounded by lush forests and wildflowers. While its accessibility means it can get crowded, the sight and sound of these falls make it a worthwhile and memorable stop in the stunning landscapes of Mount Rainier...

Mount Rainier National Park Is filled with stunning vistas and beautiful hikes. These are the stops I’d suggest for one day in the national park with kids: Reflection Lakes Paradise Recreation Area – Skyline Trail Narada Falls Christine Falls Longmire Recreation Area – Trail of the Shadows We’d also suggest staying at Altimeter Cabin’s Sherpa Cabin. It’s is absolutely adorable and it couldn’t be more peaceful. @altimetercabin @mountrainiernps @traveltacoma #mountrainier #mountrainiernationalpark #mountrainiernps #traveltacoma #familytravel #nationalparks #bucketlist #bucketlisttravel

Not too bad for a last minute detour. ⤵️ Save to plan your adventure. Arrive later afternoon/evening 🥾Hike Snow and Bench Lake Trail 2.2 miles -moderate Enjoy the reflections of Mt. Rainier in Bench Lake and the beautiful blue-green waters of Snow Lake. 🚡Check into accommodations of choice; we stayed at Crytal Mountain ski resort, where you can ride the Gondola for mouth-dropping views of the mountain 🪞Early morning start at Reflection Lake-great photo op Arrive Early at Paradise (parking fills fast) 💦Hike a 1-mile round trip to Myrtle Falls tucked under Mt. Rainier. 🥾Wanting more? Hike the Iconic Skyline Loop Trail- 6 miles hard. We suggest counter-clockwise to avoid the crowds You’ll hike in wildflowers (July-August) tons of marmots, glaciers, and mountain views including Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Hood, and Mt Adams from 📍Panorama Point Part of the trail was socked in and super busy. Walking along the cliffs we lovingly nicknamed this part of the trail the Cliffs of Insanity 💦Stop at 168 ft tall Narada Falls just a short (and a little steep) walk from the car. Please recreate responsibly Stay on trail respect wildlife Pack out all trash, TP, and food scraps Have you ever did an last minute detour? How did it turn out? #hikingadventures #roadtrip #mtrainiernationalpark #waterfalls #pnwwonderland Tags: Mount Rainier National Park, Hiking. Road trip. Waterfalls
