I never knew about this place in the 30 years I’ve lived in the PNW. It’s simply a magical place hidden in the woods. The charming Victorian home and barn add to a feeling of timelessness. The gardens are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.
I enjoyed walking among the birds (peacocks, turkeys, ducks, guinea fowl) and other animals (goats and a donkey). The nursery has an interesting assortment of native plants, and the barn is a modern farmhouse enthusiast’s dream with chippy barn doors and antiques. I found the prices extremely reasonable.
