This place was pretty cool in that it had several activities (putt-putt, large play area, dinosaur walk, grave yard, small animated area inside, gem mining and fossil dig). The tickets are pricey but we spent 3 hours here with a 4, 10. 15. 16 year old and 2 adults. Everyone was entertained. The fossil dig only happens at certain times through the day( maybe every 2-3 hours) they sift through sand for 15 minutes and choose 3 favorite fossils (sharks tooth were the primary ones), the gem mining where you sift through the bag of rocks was pretty neat as we got several large nice rocks (better than others I have done). The animated dinosaur area was small and definitly needed some TLC. The bathrooms smelled like dirty diapers. The 2 staff members were young (teens) while one was friendly and helpful the girl just played on her phone the while time. (Which meant my kids came out the fossil dig with like 10 items bc she didn't care to enforce the 3 limit). Most of the attractions are outside so make sure weather is pleasant!! The gift shop was very reasonable and had a lot of items. Even if you just stop by the gift shop to get souvenirs you can't go wrong! The paid attraction is a 1 and done type thing. I can't see a reason to ever go back. 3 stars due to price, inattentive staff, smelly bathrooms. Also I found a 2 dollar off coupon which made the online tickets more expensive when you factor in fees. Just buy there, that way you can decide to do the other paid activities (fossil and gem mining), if you want to do all the ultimate package saves a couple bucks. We did the child ultimate for the 2 little kids and 4 adults. It...
Read moreListen , i give nothing but honest reviews so take a second and read what I have to say about this place. This place is great for your first time going, but if you live in the area and go more than once, hoping that just maybe they will come up with some more exciting ideas instead of some worn painted slightly damaged dinosaurs then you would have spent waaaayy to much money yet again and will be highly disappointed unfortunately. Although I will say, we went recently sept 9th 2025 for my son's birthday and they did have a little water park for the kids to cool off in after the short circle walk looking at the dinosaurs, oh! And they did have a pterodactyl in the museum area, a squeaky one displayed lol! I dont know if this is government funded , which would make sense for how poorly its ran. Customer service is way below average , they are worried about you stepping over the stupid ropes so you dont touch the idiotic skeletons laying all over the place smh. Do you remember the movie "land of the lost" with will Ferrell when he goes to that run down "amusement park" and he goes to another dimension? Well this place and its employees are not far off, all I was missing was his tachyon amplifier and i was set lmao! Go once but never again , in my opinion, its not worth the 100's of dollars you will spend on the tickets, train ride, gift shop and everything else they will try and...
Read moreWe’ve been here twice now and I can not wait to go again, although it’s going to be during the winter next time. We went mid May and it was in the upper 90s and I think I about died. Lol But it was worth it. Soooooo much to see and do here! I could spend hours in the gift shop alone! They have everything from figures, to action play sets, books, plushies, replica fossils, real fossils, gems, geodes, clothes and more. I could spend a few paychecks easily and happily.
When you buy tickets to get in, be sure to buy fish food! You’ll be happy you did! The boneyard pass is also worth the extra money! My baby had fun and loves his shark teeth he got to keep. We also did the mine bag so he could mine for gems. He loved that has well. The big kids got to crack a geode (at an extra cost as well).
You could spend hours here there is so much to do! The walk through has so many dinosaurs, my two year old was excited to see each one. They also have information plaques with each Dino that tells you what they are, how to pronounce it and a bit of trivia about that specific dinosaur. Some of the statues are HuGE!
You are allowed to bring in your own food and drinks and they have a really great play area with shade and plenty of picnic tables at the end/beginning of the walk through. There is also a mini museum indoors with fossils and animatronic dinosaurs.
The bathroom was very...
