Had a great family vacation in late July 2016, Rented a lakeside house. (2-4K per week in this area) Much quieter and smaller than nearby Lake Grandby, Saw several moose. The Colorado river enters and exits the lake and we kayaked up to the entry point of the Colorado River, gets shallow but passible, Lots of wildlife in this area.
