I love this park, but something about it made me deeply sad. Perhaps it was the resemblance it had to the area of Little Girl's Point up north on Lake Superior. The house looks much like the house across from the First Finnish church, er methodist, er Jesuit church.. ugh I apologize, they keep changing the history on the area and I suppose I can't seem to heal. Read morePretty decent size Park there's even a pool with water fountain like rides there's a disc golf course 9 baskets there soccer field tennis courts a train that I believe is only available certain time of the year that kids can sit on and ride it goes about I don't know about a hundred m there's also a lot of nice green grass lightning bugs really good to go there at night after sun goes down you can see all the lightning bugs light up it's pretty peaceful no drug use no criminal activity pretty pretty pretty great Park to take the kids to or young or whatever you...
Read moreOne of my grandkids favorite places along with Pier parks (fish, feed ducks, play area with the best splash pad in town as it has 1' 4" depth. Toddlers and 5-6 yr olds who love to swim get both a swim area and splash pad in one. Whereas most of the other pads around are flat above ground pads).
