Such a great space for the city but most of it is currently used for agricultural leases as local voters haven't approved the last bit of the funding needed for development. Still, you can park in the dirt lots on Patterson and access some of the trails across the property. People enjoy dog walking here and there is an expansive disc golf course already in place. Once you get back to it, it is actually quite a pleasant trek to check out the wash area too. My young kids love the freedom of playing in the hills and I think the trails would be fun for beginners on a mountain bike.

Matchet Park is a huge open space which consists of private farmland and city open dirt areas. From Patterson road on the North East side of the park there is a very cool bike park developing. Go check out this amazing open space where dog walkers disc golfers and Dirt jump enthusiast come together.

Nice place to go, it off the beaten path. But if I remember right there is a potential recreation center in this area. I would hope they have good walking space. This view is looking East. Otherwise it’s farm land.

Matchett is a fun park with tons of potential. places to mountain bike, a good disc golf course, really good size to walk around. However, there's a lot of rather dangerous objects in the park, rusty metal, general trash, and SO MUCH MUD. Do not go if it has Even lightly rained in the past week. Still really fun park tho, just be really careful, especially if you've got kids or dogs. Lots of unleashed dogs too unfortunately, my dog is deaf and has a brain injury, so having other dogs run up on her is not okay, but happens frequently. If the city enforced leashing dogs, and cleaned up the park I would rate it four, if...

The disk golf course here is great. However, as others have said, it is not the easiest. Also be prepared for some good excercise as there are no flat areas. The only downside is that the beginning of each hole is not marked/mapped but the platforms still point you in the right direction and the holes themselves are marked so it's not hard to figure out the...
