The only reason I ranked it 2 stars is because the beverage cart worker was making good bloody mary's.
It's a story, people....
I hadn't played this course for over 10 years, so I was pretty excited.
It is a very nice golf course, but it was definitely not worth the $290 it cost 4 of us to play one round. I would say, 14 out of 18 holes, the grounds crew was right there, disrupting us.
They would start mowing directly in front of us (sometimes after we had already started teeing off).
They would come up behind us on the fairway and start mowing behind us (within 10 yards) while we were taking our second and third shots.
A couple of times while we were in the tee box, we had to wait because they drove into the middle of the fairway, driving straight towards us. They would turn off the course within 20 yards of us.
They would be working in the sand traps right next to the green as we were taking our approach shots.
They would just drive through the middle of the fairway while we were playing. Never saying excuse me, but as if we should have known they had the right of way.
After playing, I went into the pro shop to express how frustrating it was. It took us over 4 hours to play a 4-person scramble because of the interruption.
She could have said she was sorry that happened. All I got from her was her saying, "ok," after every one of my sentences. That made it even more...
Read moreOur group of 4 adults, with 5 kids in tow, knocked out 9 holes in an hour and forty-five minutes on a Saturday with a 1:40 tee time. Club house staff and the starter were pleasant. We came into contact with two rangers, one who was traveling along the course to attempt to find the owner of a lost clubhead cover while another was worries that the size of our group would slow down the groups behind us. The greens, tee boxes, and fairways were all in good condition. The riding carts were clean and smooth when it came to operation of them. The wind during our round helped to keep the mosquitoes away, and we had mostly sun with clouds. Four golfers for 9 holes with riding carts came to $165. We felt we got good value given the course conditions and number of other players on other holes.
This course is worth your money and time if you are in the Grand...
Read moreThe course was in great shape, but the course superintendent's are extremely rude and unprofessional. We had a group of 6 looking to golf together in a best ball scramble. When we we're wrapping up hole 3 the superintendent screamed at us and threatened to kick us off the course for golfing together. A polite explanation of why our group needed to separate would have been appropriate - no harm no foul, but the way he yelled and berated our group was completely uncalled for a very rude! Will never be back and I encourage anyone looking to have a good time on the golf course with friends, go elsewhere! Awful customer service displayed by the course...
