It’s a decent park for older kids, but it’s very poorly maintained. The water fountains are inoperable and made of sharp rusted metal, the fake grass and rope that comprises the bulk of the park is very visibly dirty, and various elements of the park are broken and have been for as long as I can remember. There’s no gate separating the walkway from the steep fall into the ravine that looks like sewage, so you have to keep your little ones at arm’s reach so they don’t fall in. There’s also regularly garbage and empty alcohol bottles strewn about. The park has a lot of potential, but the city doesn’t seem to have much interest in maintaining it. Read moreThis is one of our favorite parks. There are always kiddos of all ages. Our 2 1/2 year old loves it and will ask to go to the climbing park. As a parent, you can get a good work-out pushing the 5 - 10 kids on the merry go round. The covered picnic area is great for snacks. The ropes allow you to have a good visual of your kids at all times. It is true a young one can't do everything at the park, but she still does the zip line, swings, music chimes, merry go round, & 1 slide. She loves to try to climb. At her age, she doesn't go very high, but she still loves it. Thank you Grandview for this...

If your children have a tenancy to fall of high things, however, this might not be the best park for your family. Some of these things are high up! My only complaint is that it needs some upkeep. The zipline slide thing is broken, and one of the large sunscreens is completely missing, leaving very little shade in the area when it's hot and sunny out. However, don't let this deter you. This...
