This little park is one of my favorites. I visit during all the seasons! The trails are well kept, wide, and there are a couple bridges that cross the creek. There are benches and fishing piers around the pond as well as overlooks in the wetlands. The sensory garden is lovely — filled with flowers and plants and a koi pond with a small ridge and waterfall. Pavilion is very nice and available for rentals. The bathrooms are on point - some of the cleanest I have ever seen in any park. There is also a playground area for kids. If you want a nice shorter hike through the woods, wetlands, and prairie, this is a fantastic place for just that. Also great for family photos!

Oh my goodness the sensory park/ trail is phenomenal and as a parent of a son with autism, he absolutely loved being out there and experiencing the flowers plant and trees. From business to pleasure to quiet place for work or lunch even just to step away from the hectic turmoil of everyday life. I strongly and absolutely recommend checking this place out...fit for all ages and all types of people. Please if your in the area definitely stop in...even if only for 1 minute or 5 hours. I promise you won't regret it and will want to return.

The final family reunion of the year and I have to say for a small park its really nice. The pavilion that was rented was large enough to accommodate at least 100 people. The bathrooms were clean and in good repair. The Sensory Garden needs some attention. The playground was in good repair as well my daughter loved the swing set. There is also a hiking path that circles a lake. If your looking for a nice quiet place to have a picnic with your friends and family I highly recommend it.

I recently had a photo session with a family at Cobus Creek County Park, and it was my first time visiting. The grounds are very well-kept, and it’s such a beautiful little park. The sensory garden is a standout feature—it’s an awesome spot that offers children a beautiful place to play and explore.

I’m so glad my friend suggested doing her session here, as I’ve been wanting to check it out for a while. This park is definitely going to be one of my new go-to photography locations...
