There are some picnic tables and grills with cover, and a hiking path that will take you around part of Lake Rhodhiss that is fairly easy to navigate. There is also a put-in for boats, dock and benches for just sitting. It's a nice place to watch the sun set and listen to the water lap the shoreline. The park shares proximity with the city of Granite Falls water treatment plant which is the only negative. There were no "smells" related to the plant evident but it does figure prominently into the park's aesthetic.

Lakeside Park in Granite Falls could be a beautiful place to hike as it offers a pretty shoreline path along Rhodiss. However, it needs trail markers. It is so confusing with the several intersections along the nature trail. There also is quite a bit of trash and the so called observation decks are in need of repair. This park could be such an asset to Granite Falls.

A nice park to walk in. Not very strenuous, but nice for a leisurely stroll. You could probably swim, too. Fishing is, also, allowed. It's a little trashy from where people don't pick up after theirselves. It can get a little crowded sometimes. The lake is pretty, and you can see some wildlife.

Great little park, after making it past the picnic area you will be faced with a steep downhill which will also be a steep uphill when you return to your vehicle but other then that the trails are wide, fairly level, and mostly well taken care of, some of the offshoot trails could use some brush cutting and cleaning up. If you are into geocaching this park used to have some decent small/micro...
