Bluebriar Park — Attraction in Granite Shoals

Besides the leeches in water , this was a Beautiful small park. The view is amazing, there is a bathroom a nice size dumpster to throw your trash, theres a boat ramp, a small parking area on grass, a nice little playground. A dock where you can fish or unload off of boat, was nice to catch some fish and sit on. What we Didn't like...and Beware...the water has Tiny Tiny Leeches, I was playing with my kids in the swim area, and all the sudden my legs were stinging, i lifted one up and all I could see were these tiny little leeches latching on to my skin, we had to immediately get out and husband had them too, they were not so hard to get off since they were very small, and Thank God my kids didn't get them! Great place to launch your boat and get out on the lake. $10 launch fee for nonresidents is deposited in a kiosk near the water. Clean. Restrooms were closed due to COVID-19...

Good place to launch for access to LBJ, $10 honor box fee would be worth it if they fixed all of the potholes leading up to the ramp but in the meantime...
