This beautiful, heavily treed park is lovely…some of the spaces offer power hookups and some don’t. In fairness if you clicked through on the website you could get the info, but we arrived well after dark and had a hard time identifying the power hookups. Honestly, we were grateful to have actually found a place to park our rig as it appears most of the “rv parks” really take mostly month to month folks. We were the only people there in the first of march. This park was clean and appeared to be well cared for. With a nice creek running through it. Lots of leaves and very damp—but really, it’s just rained for days. There was no mention of the bathrooms where you pay—and all the ones we tried were locked. There is what looks like a permanent camp-host, although we didn’t meet them. All in all, a good, quiet experience that could have been somewhat better had we known which sites had power and which did not. We did not need their restrooms, but find it annoying to pay full price during off season and then find them locked.
Do try the wolf creek tavern as it was really good food with reasonable prices in a charming historic building about a half mile from...
Read moreI camped here Tuesday 5/27/25. I didn’t make a reservation but with it being a Tuesday I wasn’t worried and I think there ended up only being 1 other campsite occupied that night. Be aware that they only have pit toilets here, no flush toilets or showers. That being said, I personally don’t like pit toilets but these ones were really well maintained and didn’t stink at all. It was $25 for a tent site and $30 for a partial hookup. I didn’t see any water available at all for the tent sites (most campgrounds will have a spigot near the text sites for everyone to share), so I paid the extra $5 to have it at my site. If you don’t make a reservation, bring cash to pay for your site. I stayed in #2 because it was near the host and it had nice even ground for a tent. There is a good amount of space between the sites and the creek is readily available to swim in...
Read moreI love e Wolf Creek Park!, but then again I'm quite bias because I grew up in Wolf Creek. It's a VERY calming park. It has a merry go round, slide, swing sets etc... There's a large gazebo with picnic tables. We actually had a family wedding, many birthday parties, and get togethers there. There are hiking trails that are well maintained, a place to swim or catch craw dads. It's heavily forested for abundant shade. There's also camping for tent & RVs. Very social. Walking distance to the general store, which has been there over 50 years, & for a DELICIOUS meal there is the AWESOME historical Wolf Creek Inn. Many if our earliest forefathers stayed there as well as Call of the Wild Author, Jack London!!! Enjoy your stay in historical Wolf Creek. Oregon!!! Don't forget your Gold pan cuz, THERE'S GILD IN THEM THERE...
