Grants Dog Park — Attraction in Grants

Definately a small doggy park, but I've never seen more than 3 people with their dogs there. My dogs love it. They love running around and sniffing everywhere. Good place to socialize pups.

My only compliant is people apparently don't read not to bring in aggressive dogs. My pups first time at the park, she got attacked and harrassed by another dog. The owner was very diligent about keeping her dog on the leash and away from mine afterwards. She apologized to me. No physical harm was done. But my pup is even more timid around other dogs now.

Nice park with water and a plastic pool for when it’s hot. There is a nice path for people to walk on as well. The agility equipment is old and not really available to use. It is an off-leash park but when we got there there was a women who didn’t want us to take our dogs off leash. There was another person with two dogs and she requested the same of him. We decided after a few turns of the park to take our dogs off leash so they could run around. All was fine. Worth the trip on our road trip from Santa Barbara to home...

I'm getting it three stars and I don't think that's fair but I don't have any basis of comparison as of yet. We went in winter so everything was fairly dead however it's very well maintained It's clean and it has a nice two-way gate so you don't have to worry about your dog running away when you open up the gate to go in or out. I've never been to a dog park before thus the no basis of comparison but this one seems okay I will update it if I go to another one and this is amazing...
