🇺🇸 Happy Veterans Day to all who served & are serving. Its an honor to represent #usaf on track. This partnership has opened up my eyes to the commitment of the enlisted, I can’t thank them enough for their dediscation to our country. #veteransday #fyp #trending

Absolutely amazing experience! Just went here tonight with my hubby. Had a wonderful time, and made amazing memories to keep forever :)

Fyi! They had food trucks that had vegan options! (Sushi, boba tea, tacos, snow cones, lemonade, smoothies inside of pineapples, salads, etc.) Many food trucks have vegetarian options that can be made vegan, or you can ask them specifically not to put any meat or dairy on it!:) they are all very nice!:)

They had some activities like a concert, bean bag tossing, and some merchandise booths! There was a gemstone/fossil/precious rocks booth, a jewelry booth that had scrunchies, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, rings, etc. And a giant golden blow-up cube that housed multiple light up items like glow in the dark wall hangings, light up balloons and toys (swords, spinners, flyers, etc.)

They also sell a Smores kit that comes with a mini firepit for 30$. They sell tshirts, sweaters, blankets, and more as well!

Water bottles are available at almost every food truck, and it ranges from 2 to 3 dollars. (From my experience).

Each lantern comes with 1 small sharpie marker. They are random colors, but I'm sure you can ask for a specific color!

I counted the number of porta potties available, there were 72!! 72 porta potties PLUS a giant bathroom building (brick and mortar!) that is on the way to the area (it is a bit of a walk, but they also have a trolly to pick people up!).

P.S.A. : ALL BAGS ARE CHECKED ON ENTRY, MULTIPLE POLICE ON SITE, YES THIS IS LEGAL AND YES THE LANTERNS ARE BIODEGRADABLE! They are made of bamboo fibers and rice paper. There are designated Lantern Chasers that catch each and individual lantern.

WHAT YOU WANT TO BRING: BLANKETS YOU CAN GET DIRTY (the whole place is DIRT!) A CAMERA TO TAKE PICTURES ( Trust me, you'll regret it if you dont!!) YOUR SIGNED WAIVER TO GET IN (You will need to sign a waiver that says you take any responsibility if a lantern catches you or your belongings on fire.) CAMPING CHAIRS TO SIT ON (I had just a blanket and I was fine, but chairs still would have been nice to have) PORTABLE CHARGER CASH (Lots of the Venmo didn't work because the signal there is pretty poor; the data is pretty slow.) GAMES! You might get a little bored before the lanterns come, so you will want to bring some kind of game to play! Or even just a book will do! The data there is VERY poor, so you won't be able to use your phone much. WATER incase you dont want to spend 2 to 3 dollars per bottle. Note: you cannot bring any outside food into the park, which also means NO COOLERS!

FYI: THEY GIVE YOU TRASH BAGS FOR YOUR TRASH TO DISPOSE OF. PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF AND DO NOT LEAVE A MESS!!

Overall, amazing experience and I absolutely LOVED all of it! It felt so magical, I felt as if I was Rapunzel from...

I've never been to a racetrack before, so I didn't know what to expect. This is a really nice campus with multiple tracks for various types of races. According to their website, they rent out Go-Karts for races and host car and motorcycle races. In 2006, they were awarded the Motorsports facility of the year. Along with Go-Karts and car races, they host car shows, concerts, festivals, athletic competitions, group events, meetings, conventions, and more. The main building with the conference rooms was nice and really clean. They have decent bathrooms for each of the venues, repair shops, and more. There isn't seating or much protection from the sun, so bring your own camp chairs, umbrellas, etc. There are food trucks inside the venue if you want to buy food or you can bring in your own.

Check-in at the gate was easy, and since we were with the school, we had free parking. It was a short walk to the track where each school was positioned near an area at one side of the track. Staff members were great to help us get set up and to our area of the track.

We went as part of a state-wide middle and high school Go-Kart event. Each school built either model Go-Karts or built their own from scratch. Our school built one of each. The kids ran the whole show, from designing, building, and troubleshooting their Go-Karts to organizing their pit- crew and drivers for each leg of the race. All the of participating teams did an excellent job, and they had fun. One of our Go-Karts took first place, so our kids were really excited.

I would like to come back with my family and be part of the adults and kids' Go-Kart races. Or, even to watch the other races and activities planned during the season. If we do, I'll add another review for those. It would be fun to see actual races, pit- crews, etc.

It would be nice to have bleachers to sit or stand on, but standing near the track was...

The cart racing was a lot of fun. Carts ran well and the track was nice.

Instruction from staff could have been a little better and due to the nature of material of construction, sounds bounces like crazy making it hard to hear the staff. They did fail to tell us where the exit to the track was when you got the checkered flag and had it not been for people who had been there before, I would still be doing circles on the track trying to figure out how to exit!

It was enjoyable and I would do it again.

There were a few issues that could be corrected.

First, no drinking fountains. If you did not bring water with you, your only options is to buy bottled water.

Second, the registration process took a while as our group all showed up at once. The registration could be done ahead of time or a qr code on the wall and let everyone do it on their phones to speed the process along.

Lastly, they did not have our results available at the end of the race. I was with others who have been there before and they said they used to have a monitor with results posted so you can look. Part of the fin of the group activity is the competition and seeing how everyone did. We asked for a print out of results and staff said when they are busy they are encouraged not to print them and we will get the results emailed to us in 24 hours. I have never done an activity like this where results were not instantly displayed and/or automatically printed at the end of the race. This is a simple tech solution that could be implemented. This last one is the main reason for the 4. It is an element that is expected to be part of the experience by pretty much everyone who does something like this. It was also promised to be delivered in 24 hours, which has...
