This is where the Fall Into Winter Half Marathon was held. It is a nice cool park with a trail head, playgrounds, community garden (paid/rented sites you can access on Granville Parks and Rec pages), a small bathroom which I did not use since the event brought in porta-potties, and a shelter house with tables. There are a couple tables around the playground too. The parking lot is gravel. I would bring a helper if bringing toddlers here, due to just how big the play structure is, but ages 5 to 12 could spend hours in this thing. It was an easy drive from Gahanna, and in the fall it is WORTH the drive. The rolling hills of farmland and trees, especially as the leaves are changing, are such a welcome sight. Read moreWhat a fun playground for kids of all ages! The parking area is large but it does fill up on nice days! They have a smaller area geared towards 2 to 5 year olds. There definitely was older kids in this area that weren’t looking out for the little ones. The area for older kids have lots of things to play on. They have musical outdoor toys too. They are very cool. Plenty to climb on and slide down and explore. We played on a nice teeter totter too. They have swings but they stayed full when we were there. There’s picnic tables and benches. Read moreWent to Granville for there festival and fireworks. Had a Great time! We had bourbon chicken with rice, it was wonderful. Especially since you can't get it anymore at Tuttle. Then we tried different flavors of popcorn at Weathervane Kettle Corn. Of course we bought some. Then it was time for Whitts custard ice cream. It was very good.
