So, my family were on trip and booked for tour here a couple days in advance of the tour date. Well, we found out that we tested positive for COVID. I looked at our tickets for this place and on their website to see about canceling and getting a refund for our tickets since we couldn't go. Nothing.

So I called the number and spoke with a "tour guide" and told them the situation. The tour guide literally said to me "I don't know how to do a refund or anything I am just a tour guide" I asked if I can do a refund on online - again "I am just a tour guide and I don't' know how or anything about that." So I asked if I can speak to someone who can help me, so the tour guide said only the owner can do something like that and he will call me back. Again, very confused about that.

Next, the owner called me and I explained the situation again saying we have COVID-19. He asked if we would or can come a later date - I said no since we were leaving the next day to go back home. The owner said "Ok, let me see what I can do and I will just put you on hold for a sec." And he hung up on me at this point. And never called me back.

Very poor service on this regards.

If you plan to go here but not sure if you can make it on said time/date, don't buy your tickets!!! They will not give you a refund for any tickets and are not helpful in this matter! There is no way to get your money back from...

Fun hidden gem in northwest Arkansas. I’ve visited a few cave systems in Texas and this one was very unique. It is a short drive from Rogers/ Bentonville area. My recommendation is to take the back roads to here for some beautiful scenery and curvy roads.

The staff was very friendly and engaged! What made this cave system unique is that you saw the love and enthusiasm the owner has for this cave. You will see projects that are in progress and hear the story behind this cavern. They have facts and evidence on their claims which just adds to the experience.

As far as social distancing goes, they are making efforts to ensure parties keep enough distance and ensure guests have face masks. My wife and I were grouped with a party that had four children and two adults. That party stayed grouped together and my wife and I were grouped and maintained a safe distance. Also, our guide split our group when we came to areas that were smaller areas to view. Please do not expect other guests and the facility to do all the work. We have to accountable for our actions as well. The staff was friendly and phenomenal.

It’s a neat place to check out during the summer since it is cool in the cave. Thanks to the owners for sharing this piece of...

On a whim decided to check out the Old Spanish Treasure cave near Bella Vista, AR and almost to the Missouri state line and we are so glad we did!

Amazing and well worth the admission fee. Tip: Bring cash and save! There's a fee for using card. Plan on $20-$50/per person if also wanting a suviner. Recommend the $6 bags for kids where they can pan for gemstones themselves out front.

Wear shoes appropriate for hiking as it's damp and rocky. Not paved, well lit through most of it. Bring a flash light (check the battery before you go) to aid in your experience! There's so many holes and tunnels and cool rocks and fossils to see!

The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable if the history (dating back to the 1550's and the Spanish conquestadors). He is still trying to find the buried treasures!

There's no wrong time of year to go since caves stay about the same temperature all year. We went early January and it was warmer in the cave than outside (snowed a bit while we were there). Last tour starts at 4:30pm and lasts about an hour.

We'll be back with our scout troop for some wildcaving once they've opened it up again. I love that this cave is still being explored and isn't as developed as many of the other caves in the area.

Visited the Old Spanish Treasure Cave at Sulphur Springs, NW Arkansas on Feb 15, 2025. Despite it being a cold, rainy day - I enjoyed my visit here very much. The cave tour is about 1 hour long - we ‘easy’ walks and is recommended for almost all ages and physique. Paul is the man - the best guide for the tour. Not only is Paul the guide, it’s his property and completely maintained by his family. They are some passionate people when it comes to their cave and all the caves around. We had a fantastic time there. The gift shop is also very nice and beautiful. There are a lot of souvenirs available at very affordable prices. It’s not the place that makes or experience great, it’s the people who make it great. We will definitely revisit this place and get some souvenirs and will recommend all my friends visiting here to visit this place. We purchased 6 tickets ($21 per head + taxes) but before the tour began, one of my friends had to pull out because her infant daughter was not in the mood. Paul went up and above to make sure he refunds that 1 ticket without us even asking, he wasn’t liable but he did it anyway. Thanks again for the experience. And I wish and hope that you guys find more and more joy in your passion and love for caves.
