I kind of didn't want to rate Grayson - because this lake is absolutely amazing and I don't want it to get crowded lol Grayson is a beautiful gem with high sandstone walls and mini waterfalls. I'm an avid kayaker and this place has so many nooks and hidden spots only accessible to kayakers. Read moreThis place is massive, is teaming with wildlife, and has all kinds of things for people to explore. The marina is nice and the boat rentals are reasonable with reliable boats. The campgrounds are nice and there's a golf course as well. Fishing here is really great, there's decent catfish, some really good sized bass, and loads of bluegill. Kayaking here is amazing thanks to great sights like cliff faces and water falls, my only complaint would be the Clifty creek boat ramp could have at least an out house or Porta potty there.
