This trail is located behind the welcome center for Carter Caves. It’s a mile loop from welcome center. It starts out fairly level and paved, but after passing through the main cavern area the trail twists up to road level. There is a picnic shelter along the trail. It’s a good scenic spot. We loved the hiking and natural beauty.

Maybe a 20 minute walk from the welcome center, round trip. It's a nice trail with a picnic shelter along the route. It's a large Natural Bridge and hard to capture in a photo but definitely worth checking out while in the park.

Try to go there at least 3 or 4 times a month haven't been able for 3 years or a little longer but as soon as I can get back on that schedule I will be going every week at least 3/4 times a month at least it's close to my home about 30 minutes away rough estimate but it's such a beautiful place and the feeling you get is so real and relaxing and will definitely make you feel welcome and fulfilled with all mothernature has to offer .. check all the pull off spots you never know what trail you might find but all are great and a great...

Very nice views of the natural rock formations. Lots of nice clean natural spring water is always ice cold. I love Kentucky for their mountains, their nature trails. I felt like an ambassador to the state park because I was responsible for reporting trail dangers. 😜I wish I could get paid to do this stuff. This makes me feel so alive, so I'm so happy 😊 I love helping out...
