Black Dragon Canyon Trailhead — Attraction in Green River

I had read about this canyon in a book about hiking the San Rafael and I was interested in exploring it. This canyon has a 4WD road that goes all the way through the canyon. We entered from the bottom of the canyon and stopped briefly at the impressive rock art panels. We then continued up, the walls of the canyon are narrow and extremely tall at times and it is very pretty all the way through. The place is beautiful. The tricky part was to find the petroglyphs. It is not where Google maps points. We did not make. It, because we're short of time, but it is on the same way to the Spirit arch,tbat we found. You need to start following a path behind the board with the map. Rugged area with great views! The pictographs are pretty neat, and there are also plenty of sloping cliffsides to hike up to take in the scenery.

No formal trailhead or facilities, so come prepared. There are also no info markers at the points of interest, so do your research outside the hike.
