I booked tickets to the Saturday morning 10am Guided Safari Tour with Kangaroo Holding add-on on the Thurs night before, and I'm so glad I did! The prices are very fair for everything you get to experience, and it's the perfect length of activity, not too long and not too short. Brooklyn was our tour guide, and she was fantastic! She spoke loudly and clearly to our large group, was very kind and fun and funny and informative. She connected well with the young children in the group, without making it babyish or boring. She did a fantastic job on her first ever spiel on the Spider Monkey! My favorite part was by far the kangaroos. I loved being surrounded by so many and getting to pet their soft fur. The add-on encounter of getting to sit on a bench and hold baby Chaos the 1yo male joey in his pouch was SO special and incredible! I would have added the otter (holding) encounter as well, but it was sold out when I went to book (less than 48 hours before the tour, so very last minute). I do wish they would have mentioned when we were near animals that were NOT going to be talked about/seen separately on the tour, so I could have known to snap some pics on the way past, but I do understand why that would maybe cause too many problems as a whole. They did not talk about the zebras, although they can be seen from the front meeting area, so you could stay and look at them after the tour was over, if you wanted. They also did not talk about the otters, unless you booked the add-on otter encounter(s) for after the tour, but I don't know if that is a normal thing, or just a fluke on the day I went. The website does mention that not every animal will be featured on every tour, depending on multiple factors. Knowing this in advance helped me not feel so disappointed about missing the otters. I would highly recommend this place and it was cheap enough that I might even go again just to pet the...
Read moreMy recent visit to Animal Edventures Park was an absolutely unforgettable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend, especially for families looking for an engaging and educational outing.
From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed me with their deep knowledge and passion for the animals. They were incredibly informative, always prioritizing safety, and did an excellent job of passing on crucial preservation knowledge about the challenges these amazing creatures face in the wild. It was clear they genuinely care about the well-being of every animal and educating visitors.
The highlight of the two-hour tour was undoubtedly the incredible opportunity for hands-on interaction. Being able to hold a two-toed sloth, cuddle a baby kangaroo, and especially interact with the playful otters was truly a dream come true. These close encounters didn't just provide amazing photo opportunities; they fostered a deeper connection and reinforced my appreciation for these animals. It genuinely encouraged me to learn more about the specific challenges they face in their natural habitats. The chance to feed some of the animals was also incredibly exciting and added another layer of engagement to the tour.
While the experience is fantastic for all ages, it's worth noting for families that some of the animals are quite large, which might be a consideration for very young children. However, the staff's guidance and emphasis on safety ensured everyone felt comfortable.
The opportunity to hold and interact with the otters alone was worth the price of admission. If you are looking to extend your experience with the otters, sign up for the additional swim with the otters, you won’t regret it! Animal Edventures Park offers a unique and enriching experience that goes beyond a typical zoo visit, leaving you with lasting memories and a renewed sense of wonder for the animal kingdom. I would absolutely...
Read moreGabe is the best! I’m so glad he was our tour guide. I wouldn’t want anyone else. Since Gabe made this experience so wonderful, I will be back, and I want him as our tour guide again. He is so sweet, and so good with the animals. He talks so good about them. It’s like every single one is his favorite. He compliments all of the animals out there. It was so cute. Everyone was so nice at the safari, except for the guy who was closest to the entrance when you first come in. We were a little early, and had no idea we couldn’t come in on our own. There was no sign, so we just came through the left side. This was our first time coming here. This was around 1:15 PM on Sunday 05/11/2025. We’re from Texas, and I’ve been wanting to come here for a year. Anyways, that guy sure let us know we were wrong. He acted like we should have known exactly what to do. I knew to be there 30 minutes early, but I thought we could come in, and wait. He was very rude in his tone of voice. I almost didn’t come back, but we spent a lot of money on our trip, so we did. I’m glad we did though, because we had an awesome time. I loved all the animals, especially the Otters. They’re so cute. I’m glad we got to sit with lots of Otters, and let them play all around us. Besides that one guy, who I never saw again “thank goodness” was extremely nice, and made us feel like family. Of course Gabe was my favorite. He was so nice, and personable, and made me feel so comfortable. I’ve never seen someone love animals, and treat them with so much respect as Gabe did. I can’t wait to come back, and I sure hope Gabe will be available to take us on our VIP...
