The candy mecca!! Do not go here unless you plan on spending a good amount of money! They have EVERYTHING you could want. Stuff from your childhood and probably from your parents childhood as well, there is a popcorn bar with like 70 different kinds (not an exaggeration, there really are that many) of popcorn flavors. I would recommend the Tuxedo (caramel with white and dark chocolate) and Charamel (cheddar caramel gives that sweet and salty deliciousness) flavors and if you love pickle flavored things (I'm a massive fan of anything pickle flavored) the Dill popcorn is absolutely delicious (like a salty pickle) They have a little area for "exotic" candies, personally I would recommend the Jaffa cakes because they are just the best thing ever. Thin sponge cake disk with orange jelly and covered in dark chocolate. There is a large area of what I call "looseies" which are the loose candies that you can make your own mix of and then pay by the pound. There is an area in the back that has freeze dried candies and a wall of gummy goodies (the pickle roulette was yummy 😋) One of my personal favorites is the peanut butter cups that are made in house. They are leaps and bounds better than any Reese's cup. And they come in some massive sizes! I recommend the dark chocolate one ☺️🍫 There are two coolers full of sodas and drinks that you will spend a fair amount of time in front of 🤣 When I say you will spend some time and 💵 here it is the honest truth but you will leave with the biggest smile and feeling like a kid in all the best ways!! Take your time here and don't rush. Cruise the whole place once and then make a game plan as to what you want to get. The staff there is EXTREMELY helpful and you will never feel like you're bugging someone with a question you may have. Have fun and get...
Read moreAmazing amazing amazing! We were visiting our friends who moved to WPB 3 years ago for my daughter's birthday. I gave her some options of things we could do on her actual 7th birthday and she chose the Bulk Candy Store Tour. So that is what we did. My husband was not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. We had 4 adults, and a 7, 6, 3, 2 year old. The tour itself is about 45 mins and a few different rooms. And the owner/tour guide Ken is amazing!! He made it so fun, engaging, and interactive and held the kids attention the entire time. Each of the rooms has a different theme and was very informative. You got to sample some treats along the way. You can see he loves what he does and loves people. The kids had so much fun. At the end we let the kids pick out different candies that they wanted to get. They have so many candies from my childhood that I haven't seen in years and things from other countries.
In the candy shop too they have 80 different flavors of popcorn. Seriously wish I could have tried them all. I felt bad making them give me a sample...but every time I tried another it made it harder to choose which flavors to get. They were all so good. The staff was great with recommendations and having you try different ones. I got the Tajin flavor for myself and my picky 7 year old ate it all on me!
The customer services of all of the employees in the shop is top notch. I can not say enough about them. With all the chaos of the kids' excitement in the store seeing all different candies and popcorn, they could not have been any sweeter. They were all SO NICE...
Read moreWhen my friend and I arrived at this store around 9:15am, the workers present were not friendly, at all. I told her that if the tour guide was this way when we returned at 10:30am, I would leave. We returned at 10:15am and were immediately greeted upon entering store. The lady checked us in and we waited for tour to start at 10:30am. Ahnaca was our tour guide and she was MAGNIFICENT!!!
Ahnaca made the visit and tour worth every penny. She was so charismatic, friendly, entertaining, funny, and kept all of our attention even the kids that were on the tour. She involved everyone in your so you had to pay close attention!!! She definitely deserves a raise because she is the best thing going in store. No one is as friendly except owner/manager not sure if he owns. He was super nice and friendly also.
The tour was much more than I expected and Ahnaca knows the history of candy and all about candy in general. She has actually spent time to study on her own and takes photos of candy she see in stores etc. She is on top of it when it comes to candy!!! The tour was 45 minutes and of course I had to tip her. We should have given her a hand for job well done! Just didn’t think of it until now.
There is every type of candy in store and they have 40 flavors of popcorn made fresh! I had eaten enough candy during tour so I didn’t make a purchase.
I highly recommend visiting this store and asking for Ahnaca if available. The other employees are not so friendly BUT the two ladies serving popcorn were friendlier than the woman who opened the...
