Historic Houck Covered Bridge — Attraction in Greencastle

This is a beautifully constructed bridge with pretty scenery around it. You can only walk across it but there is a small parking lot and its wheelchair accessible. Great place for a photo shoot. If you are adventurous you can also walk down under it but be prepared to climb a little through some brush and on rocks. My family n I enjoy finding cool rocks n such along the water and one of my sons likes to fish there although no one i know catches much. Another great spot on Big Walnut river! Over looked by Boone Hutcheson Cemetery. Covered bridge was recently bypassed and is closed with new parking (+handicap accessible ) places and paved walk ways. Nice beachy area good for med/small rock finding, some of my coolest "Indian beads" came from this area, also some of our strangest small fossil finds too. It's a great place for getting out and enjoying nature that is only a short drive away...
