Owl Ridge Wedding Venue and Event Center — Attraction in Greencastle

My husband and I absolutely LOVE Owl Ridge! We had the best experience here from start to finish. The planning process was super easy with how organized everything is. I changed my mind a lot along the way, and not a single detail was missed. Whitney was great, I could text her anytime with questions and she was always helpful and quick to respond.

The planning and tasting events were really helpful and the signature drinks were a hit, especially the peach bourbon smash. We have even had people reach out asking for the recipe because they wanted to have it at their own wedding. The food was also delicious, and we got so many compliments from guests.

Also, when they say there’s no hidden costs, they mean it. While we were researching different venues, we encountered extra fees for using their chairs, napkins, etc. You won’t run into any of that here!

We ended up firing our officiant just four days before the wedding and even that wasn’t stressful because Whitney and Rhonda handled everything for us. That was truly an eye opener as to how great owl ridge is!

We did our own florals and they made it a super easy process. All we had to do was make the arrangements and drop them off. They set it all up beautifully. We also had a ton of flowers and they found a lot of great ways to incorporate them throughout the venue and it just made everything look wonderful. And If you’re like me, you have no idea what to include for all the little details of decorating. Throughout planning I gave them an idea of what we were wanting everything to look like and Whitney and Rhonda set everything up and incorporated all the little details on their own! We were extremely impressed with how everything turned out. In addition, the natural beauty of the venue is unbeatable. I also loved that they have so many decorations, signs, easels, bowls, and other little details for you to use. It saved us a ton of time and money.

The morning of the wedding was completely stress free and I didn’t have to do or think about a thing. They coordinated the timeline, setup, vendors, and everything else that came up. The rehearsal they ran the morning of was super easy and the ceremony went flawlessly. Also, the tree watering ceremony that they provide is super cute!

Truly such a beautiful venue and Whitney and Rhonda were incredible. I cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else! If you're thinking about booking Owl...

Owl Ridge hosted my wedding, and it was absolutely incredible — truly the best day of my life!

All of the people who run and operate Owl Ridge were amazing, especially Whitney and Rhonda. They went above and beyond to tailor everything to my needs and made the entire experience so stress-free. They completely set up and tore down all of my decorations, and even supplied so many beautiful décor items themselves, so I only had to bring very minimal or personalized things. At the end of the night, they literally packed all my decorations into my car for me — I didn’t have to lift a finger.

Rhonda and Whitney never left the wedding the entire night. They were there making sure every single detail was running smoothly, and if anything went wrong, I never noticed it. Their son (I wish I remembered his name!) was fantastic too — he helped us choose all the cigars for our cigar bar and worked alongside Whitney & Rhonda bartending for our guests all night.

Also- the FOOD!! I can’t even count how many of my guests told me it was the ‘best wedding food they ever had’. It was absolutely delicious and there was definitely no shortage of options to choose from during our planning and tasting event!

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. It’s gorgeous inside and out, and created the perfect backdrop for our day. Leading up to the wedding, they were always so accommodating and responsive to all of my questions, which gave me so much peace of mind.

They even offered a transportation package and arranged for pick-up and drop-off for our family and friends before and after the wedding, which was such a thoughtful and helpful touch.

I would recommend absolutely everyone to Owl Ridge. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with an incredible team who genuinely care about making your day perfect, look no further!

When we arrived at the beautiful gate and entrance to Owl Ridge, we were already gasping with excitement seeing it. The paved road winding to the building was breathtaking. We were greeted by staff that answered all of our questions. They were patient, friendly and very nice. The future bride was insistent on a wooded background with beautiful wildflowers with an outdoor space for the ceremony. Owl Ridge is it. It has everything and more. They have plenty of options for any kind of look you’re going for. Including the tablescape options, free decor, use of the kitchen for storage and the tasting menu was exquisite. You can bring your own cake and desserts or use their on site catering. They own the Putnam inn so they have a full menu and bar available. What a bonus for anyone considering using this all in one event center! They also have a champagne wall, a cute rolling cart for anything you can think of, outdoor games, plenty of covered seating outdoors, a nice selection of cigars for purchase, wonderful bridal suite/grooms suites, a catered lunch on wedding day including beers and mimosas. I could go on and on with the extras available at no extra charge. Now for the extra bonus.. They have private lodging nestled in the well manicured landscape called Owlets! Four Brand new modern spaces for overnight stays or longer. We booked them all for two days. It was such a treat to be on site after rehearsal to lounge around, and walk the grounds in solitude. They have beautiful hardwood floors, microwave, a kitchenette with coffee maker and pods, water stocked in fridge, a huge bathroom with huge shower, and a comfortable queen bed and pull out couch in living room with a dining table. What more could you ask for? Wedding morning we made our coffee and sat outside the venue enjoying the peace and quiet, and gearing up to watch our daughter marry the love of her life, when we see a bald eagle fly over. Cue the eagle? Ha ha. To sum it up, I highly recommend investing your time to visit this outstanding option. The owners are fully available for all your needs at a moments notice.
