Root River Parkway Picnic Area 2 — Attraction in Greendale

Great place for a lot of different activities. This picnic area includes a playground for the younger kids as well as soccer nets. It has about a dozen picnic benches. It has a lot of open space but surrounded by a wooded area. Good for playing around with a ball, but probably bad spot to fly a kite. Make sure to bring your mosquito spray when you do come here. The small creek close by can attract the mosquitos.

Great place for a family reunion. Electrical outlets, lights if it gets dark, restrooms, a playground, plenty of picnic tables! Plenty of green space to play games, including a large field for soccer! Plenty of space for lawn games, lots of shade too! Park workers come by to check if they need to add toilet paper or change garbage bags, they're very nice. And of course it's walking distance to the beer garden!
