Greene Township Playground — Attraction in Greene Township

This playground is absolutely epic! There is so much space and so many fun features for kids. We just stopped by to walk on the new paved path and I thought it was so cool to see such a big playground. Nowadays, it seems like larger playgrounds are harder and harder to find.- with lawsuit happy parents and the concerns to avoid that. However CHALLENGING play is essential to children’s growth and development. I wrote several papers on it in college. To have challenging features where they can overcome and even fail is essential. At the time in November there were no swings but I hope they bring them back out in spring. Very grateful for whoever funded this and the walking path. Would be a great path for holiday lights as well! Could have an event with hot cocoa and decorate the trees and have displays! Lmk. I’ll help plan it with ya. I do event planning. Kids love it, and it's a heck of a lot better than what they and myself have/had back in our hometown growing up.

All sorts of fun stuff to do. I cool little toddler area that's fenced in with a Choo Choo train and a ship to imagine with, a big spiral slide 2/3 stories high. All pretty safe. Handicap swings/merry go round. Also ones that you and your kids can swing together on.

My 2 year and 11 year old had a blast. I'm happy we live right down the road from it, but also know I'm gonna be sore the next day chasing...

Brand new playground. There is a nice small children area that is fenced in with one entrance and a locked gate to get out on the different end of the playground. The swings aren't up yet.
