Bur-Mil Park Playground — Attraction in Greensboro

The Bur-Mill Park Playground was quite busy on the beautiful Saturday morning that I was there. Situated between the aquatic center parking lot and the golfing range (shielded by a heavy area of trees) the playground provides a perfect location between activities while at Bur-Mill Park.

There were several activities going on while we were there but that only added to the fun that the very diverse group of children were having.

The grounds are well kept, with plenty of room for picnics whether at an individual picnic table or a reserved covered shelter.

There is also the Big Loop Hiking Trail that starts right alongside the playground for those interested in a nature hike within the cool and shaded woods.

Pretty good park. We were just out there for a child’s birthday party and there were wasps around the bathrooms and under the picnic tables at the shelter we were in. No one was stung but it stressed us parents out a bit. Also, in the middle of the party a park worker drove a loud golf cart to empty the barely used trash cans in our shelter. Why?? Nice picnic park. There are two shelters includes grill as well.

There are restrooms available for Men, women and family room as well.
