I really enjoyed spending time with my ex and our son there kids fishing having a good time. We had a little picnic and ate and then walked across the bridge and into the park. The bathrooms were awesome. Air conditioning bathrooms cool lol. Nothing really stands out to give it a bad rep. I just feel like there's more that any place can do to make places clean The river or I mean the pond lake. Whatever it was. Could have been cleaned a little bit better so there's more active wildlife. My ex wanted to feed the ducks that day but there were no ducks other than that, like I really never been to a park that had water without ducks in it. Especially this time of year. I don't know if it's because the golf course or whatnot but that was my only issue was the wildlife or...

There were remnants from a birthday party strewn about outside one of the shelter houses, including confetti all over the ground. I’m concerned the ducks and geese will eat the confetti. There was also a lot of trash in the pond near the small dam. Finally; there was a random dead/rotting goose by the shore near disc golf station 2. This park has a lot of potential to be beautiful but its uncleanliness is a major deterrent for me, and I think it’s harmful to the wildlife. The city needs to do a better job monitoring this park. Recycling bins would be nice (of course, they’d have to be emptied regularly to make a...
Read moreLooking at it, it looks like it would be really nice and well kept. But it's just a run down golf course. The disc golf holes were all 200 or less, so maybe if you are a beginner it would be okay, but really the holes are way too close together. They had a nice bridge which I wanted to take my dog on a walk on and stuff, but it's absolutely covered in goose poop. I know that's just part of being around any body of water, but you would think a golf course would maintain it a...
