I would have to say that this winery is better than any I have ever been to. The quality of wine is better than any I have tasted in Door County, Wisconsin, or any other winery in Illinois. Owners Dan and Sonya Webb are always terrific hosts, and the winery is inviting and comfortable. What is even better is that Dan and Sonya have taken steps to keep it that way. You won't find large, noisy groups of party buses at this winery. Instead, you will find a place to sit and chat with a friend in front of the fire, or have a picnic with your loved ones among the grape vines. Cameo Vineyards makes its wine from grapes grown by the owners, not from grapes shipped in or grape concentrate. What's even better is that Cameo makes the wine on-site, unlike many commercial wineries that hire someone else to make the wine. You can't go wrong with Cameo Winery.
