Great park that has many features, lots of space, friendly people, and one my little girls loved! Greenville Lions club helped establish the park.

Activities Playground with several sections for both little kids and older kids. ---The older kid section is a 3-story structure with slides, climbing wall, monkey bars, etc. ---The younger kid section has a shade covering Zipline Basketball court Volleyball court Large open fields Two horse shoe areas Splash pad Fenced-off dog run area Frisbee golf course Large pond with a dock and a bridge Features & Amenities Restrooms Lots of benches around the playground to allow for parents to sit. Many trash cans throughout the park. Bike rack by the playground. Large pavilion with picnic tables under it. Great for events. Lighting throughout the high use areas in the park. Parking

Improvements For being an old park it will always need maintenance. Most items were functional. Lion water fountain wasn't working when we visited. Zipline rubber chain cover was broken. Weeds with pokey seed heads were throughout the field so don't go barefoot. 😖 Weeds in the DG around the horseshoe pits. Restrooms could be cleaned...

My 3 grandkids enjoyed the playground. They particularly liked the hanging zip line type equipment. Too bad it only returns you back 1/2 way - you need to walk handle back the rest of the way. (Small inconvience, but it backs up the line if there's several kids waiting) It was unseasonably warm (77) the Saturday we went in February, and the playground was packed with kids. Lots of others were enjoying the dog park and duck pond too. The playground is right next to the parking lot. Within feet of it. Like a sidewalk width away. Too much traffic too close to kids at play. And too close to the gentleman who was standing next to his vehicle drinking a gigantic bottle of beer &...

Park had a lot of things to do. I was looking forward to going, since I saw a lot of great reviews. From a distance the park looks nice, but once I was walking around the pond you could see all the trash people leave behind. There was beer bottles, aluminum foil with half eaten sandwiches, chip bags, and all kinds of little snack bags in and around the pond. I had my dog with me an I noticed he was sniffing something and when I looked down it was a bird carcass covered in ants. I know animal nature happens, but you could tell it had been laying out for a long time. The park definitely needs...
