I hate to write this review, but I feel like I have no choice. I have visited this winery half a dozen times. The first visit was enjoyable and even joined the wine club to support a local start up business. Since this visit it has been disappointing.
Today I came to pick up my wine club order and despite Google saying they are open until 6pm we were greeted by a sign saying we're inside please knock. We assumed due to heat maybe we were going inside. The young lady that answered the door was curt, unhelpful, and lacked polite customer service. We were told they were only open for bottle service, we could buy a bottle and leave. She couldn't find my wine club order, didn't apologize for the miscommunication, closed the door in our face to go look inside the building leaving us wondering what was going on. After a while she returned handed us a bag with the bottles and simply turned her back and walked away. No "your welcome" to my thank you, no sorry for the confusion, just walked away.
It is a summer day in Texas and there was NO ONE there but us. This doesn't surprise me with this level of service. The last time we came to pick up wine club during the listed business hours we called and called and nobody was there. We later got phone calls from the owner apologizing but still needed to drive back to get the wine. Consistency is so important for the success of a small business, and the only thing consistent here is the lack of...

The art gallery showcases a diverse range of artworks that captivated me from the moment I stepped in. From paintings to sculptures, each piece seemed carefully curated to create a harmonious atmosphere. Read moreFirst experience on Friday was good, Mary at the bar was knowledgeable and fun, she recommended good wines that both my husband and I liked, a star was added for Mary's enthusiasm and good customer service. Property is pretty, nice landscaping.
Our second attempt at a visit was repulsive. We called ahead on Sunday to have a glass before close, and drove over 45 minutes out of the way to stop here. Upon entry at 5:39pm, the two bar staff women had sour looks on their faces, like they hated their jobs. They refused service and said they're only open for "take out bottles" which really cemented our perspective and view on Live Happy's brand and establishment. They are not customer centric, they do not value community or their word and 2/3 of their bar staff hate their customers and are happy to show it.
Furthermore, we sent in a written request to be contacted by management so that our compliant was received, it's been 5 business days and they did not get back in touch with us through phone, email or text message. Little integrity for an establishment allegedly inspired by God.
Remember, looks can be deceiving and where you spend your coin is a vote in a certain direction. Do better, Live Happy. We are thoroughly unimpressed and will make sure our friends in the wine community know of this poor experience, Live Happy was happy to waste our time and dampen...
