The weekly fee was $180 my first week there without a working air conditoner...Stayed an extra week to get my air conditioner worked on...When I asked Jessie if I could come up and pay for another week he asked how I was "paying cash, check or card? He'd be up in the office and the price for a week is $230, then corrected himself to $210 because the larger 2 and 3 air units are quite costly. So the price went up no matter the amps." I arrived at the office and the Be back sign was up I returned at that time and the sign time had changed again ..When the office was finally opened after my 3rd attempt at 1 after checkout time. I walked in only to see a rates sign posted at $180 for a week...I confronted Jesse about it and he just stuttered and stammered at the reason my 2nd week was so costly without good reason without changing the rates sign...I bet if I would have just paid with a check or money order it would have only been $180 for the week...The first week I was there Carey came by to help me with my air unit referred by Mike to help with my fan he arrived after my new fan had arrived, he accidently broke the new one and said if I could get another in Prattville he'd be back the next week to put it in, he left the parts and pieces unattached prepped for his return the following week...So I was locked in the stay another week...then Jesse gave me the run around about not charging the posted in the office weekly rate and charged me more...Just after I paid for another week the same afternoon Carey so kindly called to tell me he couldn't finish what he started. Needless to say...I had to leave with my air unit not put together at all...The next park I reached a kind gentleman put in my new fan to help my dog with the heat with neither of us knowing what Carey had disassembled...Or if any parts had been dislodged during my travels to get away from the dirty Jesse business towards me...I'm including the pics of both receipts the posted in the office 180 and Jesse's crudy made me pay by the day instead of the weekly rate...Also I'm including the pic of all the blower wheel blades that were chewed apart and I had to pick out of my vent...Those are my feet and my counter in my camper...I'd like my whole 7 days refunded and my unit completely repaired from all the damage caused by the whole situation, let's face it that won't happen...too many elbows rubbing together for my taste...Once I arrived back in the area the other park I went to found out I didn't like Jesse and they moved him in for the hunting season where his 3 50 amp group left air units running 24-7 when they weren't even there for a week at least and lights on...What a bunch...

We stayed here for 1 night. It was very pleasant and the staff was great. I generally really enjoy these city owned campgrounds; this one was great. It's easy to get in and out and close to the highway. It's part of a larger park so there is a very nice lake to check out and a big playground. This has a very throwback feel, which I super enjoyed. From the phone call for a reservation to the paper receipt for our camping spot. No reservation # no email receipt... and yet no issues with anything when we arrived. They escorted us to our site and even offered a different site that was a little more private with a small deck. Sites are large and spread out; ours was full hook-ups. It was super quiet. There seems to be a mix of longer term and short term here. I don't think they have a bath/shower house. I would definitely stop here again. Even with it being an older park, there were signs of it being well cared for. If you like more old school type parks that feel like a dispersed park then you will enjoy this. Since we were just here for the night I don't know what the area is like for activities. It felt very safe. Thanks for offering such a...

We stayed at the campground over night on our RV trip to Pigeon Forge. Got there a little after 6pm. The gentleman in the office stayed there for us and helped us to our site. We payed our $30 for full hookup and he took us to our site. Take cash or check cause they do not take credit card. No big deal.

When I got to my site the annoyed lady in the site that was in front of me decided she didnโ€™t want to move her vehicle from behind her travel trailer so that I could un hook my truck from my fifth wheel. It was her parking spot she says. So I kindly said okay told the gentleman escorting is to our spots and he said okay take that on over there then. Two spot down in a better spot I moved. To easy.

I regret not staying at this park more than a day because it was a beautiful park with great staff and the most level spots I have been on in a while. Thank you to the staff and the price is...

I visited late Sept on a week day. Camp ground was near empty and we got the closest tent site to the lakeshore. About a hundred yards downhill. Very quiet, clean. No luck with fishing but itโ€™s probably because of a bad set up. Nevertheless, I had a great time relaxing. I think I paid like $15 or so. Easy-to-collect fire wood was everywhere. Ten minutes away from Walmart for any supplies. Attendant was a nice gentleman who was readily accessible with a phone call. I will visit again soon.

Great small campground, well kept and quiet on our site (18); friendly and very helpful staff. It has a wonderful variety of shade trees with many of the sites having built in porches. The fishing areas are nice but would have loved longer hours open (understandable however with limited staff). The property joins the RTJ golf course and, of course, that is never a bad neighbor! We will return!
